"Otavina Literary Agency" is a young but nevertheless successful company in the Netherlands representing authors, dramatists and scriptwriters worldwide. Founded in 2007 the Agency has already sold: book rights to Canadian, Danish, Slovenian and UK publishers; theatre plays rights to Poland and East Europe; recently joining American and EU film rights market.

OUR AUTHORS

The Authors we represent are mostly famous Russian writers with all their books published in East and West Europe. Among them are:

Aleksey Slapovsky - a modern writer with great sense of humour combined with deep understanding of human nature. His fiction books are sophisticated but at a same time easy apperceived by any reader whom he tricks with simplicity of story telling but always raises questions we all wonder how to answer. His books are “drama and comedy in one”. Recently the author also wrote a fantasy trilogy.

Igor Alekseev (1959-2008) worked in genre that is difficult to fit in one known: his last book is a non-fiction diary of a man struggling with cancer, with harmonically entwined fiction elements in it such as short stories and miniatures. He also worked on children’s books and wrote beautiful modern analects of fairytales for young and older.

Alexander Davidov (Kaufmann) represents a whole generation of writers and successfully works in pure and mixed genres of fiction alongside with non-fiction. He wrote and published mystic thriller book with psychological crime twist; documental novel as the author calls it; collection of short stories and fairytales coming up soon.
