Aleksey Slapovsky

Slapovsky is the most productive and hard working author ever: he easily releases few novels per year; a theatre play or two per quarter; top quality TV-series scripts and movie scenarios that bring producers millions of dollars weekly.
Born in 1957 Russia, Slapovsky has graduated from Saratov State University, philological faculty, and started his writing career as a dramatist. In 80-s his plays were staged all over spanless Russia; in 90-s they crossed the border and conquered European theatres; nowadays they are performed on every continent of earth. His first book the author published in Russia, 1990. Since 1997 his works were translated into English, German, French, Dutch, Italian and other languages. All Slapovsky’s novels are high quality literary work suitable for a reader of any origin and age.

Due to his solid dramaturgical background Slapovsky successfully works as a scriptwriter. Directors like Timur Bekmambetov (recent movie “Wanted” with Angelina Jolie, James McAvoy and Morgan Freeman) choose the author because of his ability to intertwist comedy with drama; stunning plot with philosophical background; action with lyrics. Some people say: “You cannot embrace the boundless”. Well, the author Slapovsky obviously can.

Igor Alekseev

Alekseev was born in Russia, 1959 and has passed away in April 2008 after many years of struggling with cancer.
He was a unique writer working in Poetry and Prose: both fiction and non-fiction, sometimes so harmonically twisted in his works that it’s difficult and perhaps unnecessary to categorise them. His last book "How the Elephants Die” is a good example of that. Based on a non-fiction diary of a man struggling with cancer, the book itself tells readers hope seeking fairytales and life short stories which are hand-sewn by the author in the main narrative structure.

The author also wrote a separate collection of fairytales equally enjoyable for children of all ages and adults over the world. This book offers a better understanding of our nature, dreams and desires and might be a guiding angel for kids and teens exploring life.

Igor Alekseev started his career in literature as a Poet and has published 5 books which were nominated in prestigious professional poetry contests and have won the Gumilev prize award in 2006, St-Petersburg. For more info please send us request.

The author had a PhD in medical science; was a member of the professional Writer’s Association of Russian Federation, regularly published in literary magazines and had a special blog on BBC's website.

Alexander Davidov

Davidov is a Russian author living in Moscow working as a Chief Editor of cultural and literary magazine “Comments” in collaboration with “Russian Gulliver”.
A member of the professional Writers Association of Russia, he is regularly published in fiction and non-fiction magazines as an essayist, novelist, publicist and translator of French literature.

He represents the whole generation of writers and one of his books refers directly to his father – a famous poet David Samoylov – called “49 days with kindred spirits”. This documental novel as the author calls it, is not exactly a memoir book but a literary work searching for better understanding of our past which can be interesting to any adult reader.

Due to a solid translational background the author has a good understanding of outside Russia market and a keen eye for language and details used in narrative structure, that’s why his mystic thrillers with psychological crime twist can be successfully translated in all languages and suitable for different target groups.

Recently the author wrote a modern fairytale book which we truly recommend for publishers working with children’s books as a separate work or as a part of fairytale collection.
